Wow!!

You have made it through to “What the job is this” spelt Whathejobisthis, a place where you get to share and hear other career transition story. If you know me well, you’ll probably be thinking Mathy and another crazy idea. Well guess what this crazy idea is not just me rambling on.

Lets get down to it shall we – the purpose of this blog is to;

1. Help other people find their own career path through the use of storytelling.

2. Share my story how to deal with loss cope with loss find your path and develop some backbone.

3. Share practical steps and tips on how to deal with Job loss or making a living without a job.

4. Resources used audio Video- Visual and Interviews

5. Encourage others to share their stories because let’s face it” stories stick better than theories.”

6.  Show people how I find my potential and teach them how to find theirs.

7. Also help those who specifically find themselves stuck between government support and private support .i.e unable to receive help from local government,(because there is none available at the time) and not being able to receive help from private companies as it’s beyond their budget.

8. Finally I am a resource centre, a hub that connects the everyday job seeker with career transition support and organisations which  can make a difference to your life.

Finally I have fun with it all, being silly from time to time cause lets face it being in-between jobs, Unemployed, Redundant might be your next window of opportunity and not the end of you.
